U's Face The Shrews

22 October 2013

Joe's men look to get back to winning ways.

The U's will look to pick up a useful three points when they travel to Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.

Joe Dunne's men have managed to get their noses in front in recent games and will be looking to complete the job when they take on Graham Turner's men at the Greenhous Meadow.

They will do so without Matt Taylor and Jamie Sendles-White, who are back with parent clubs Bradford City and Queens Park Rangers respectively.

And, with Tom Eastman still out with injury and Danny Pappoe unlikely to be available for the midweek fixture, boss Joe Dunne will have a few selection conundrums to solve for the latest away game.

However, he can welcome back Mark Cousins to challenge Sam Walker for the goalkeeper spot, whilst new boy Elliot Lee also makes his first trip as a Colchester United player, having signed on loan earlier on Tuesday.

There's also a place in the squad for Macauley Bonne, with the U's home grown talent having been rewarded for his excellent recent form in the youth team.

U's: Walker, Cousins, Wilson, Spence, Okuonghae, Garbutt, Dickson, Bond, Bean, Eastmond, Gilbey, David Wright, Massey, Monakana, Szmodics, Sears, Morrison, Ibehre, Ladapo, Bonne
