Kem Goes To Needham

11 September 2013

Midfielder opts for non-league football.

Former U's midfielder Kem Izzet has taken the next step on his footballing journey, by deciding to sign for local non-league side Needham Market.

Having left the U's after twelve years at the club last week, Kem has opted to move to Ryman One North side Needham on a two year contract, joining up with former Colchester striker Jamie Guy, along with former Leeds and Ipswich midfielder Ian Westlake.

The move will also allow Kem to pursue his coaching aspirations, with the former club captain also eyeing his own coaching school in the future.

A full interview with Kem about his move to Needham can be found HERE.

We wish him and Needham all the best for the rest of the season.
