For the fourth year running, Colchester United are seeking to work with charities of all sizes as part of their ongoing commitment to the local community.
Launched in the 2009/10 season, the Official Charity Partner package has proven to be a popular one, with a host of special benefits on offer, alongside some great opportunities for publicity with Essex’s leading football club.
U's Media Manager Matt Hudson said: "We will continue to work alongside causes of all sizes this season. The official Charity Partners will receive a superb package of benefits that will allow them to help not only raise money for their charities but also increase their profile amongst our fan bases and the wider local public.
"The players and management will also work with these charities in the coming year and and we are really excited about giving the selected charities the full Col U experience.
"This is the fourth year we have had the official Charity Partner set-up and have learned a great deal about what benefits both the charities and ourselves, so this year’s charities will have a great time in working with us."
Charities who are chosen to be an Official Charity Partner will receive the following:-
- support from the U’s staff, players and management
- coverage in the club’s media channels, including match programme and club newspaper
- signed memorabilia
- the chance to use an executive box at a first team fixture (subject to availability)
- the chance to use the Weston Homes Community Stadium for a community event
