Where is the value in the Sky Bet League 1 promotion race?

Wolves continue to head the Sky Bet League 1 promotion betting after bouncing back from their derby defeat to Walsall with a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury.

The pre-season favourites have shortened from 7/2 to 11/8 over the course of the start of the season, with 19 points racked up from a possible 24.

However, Leyton Orient lead the table with a game in hand and have come in from 33/1 to 8/1 to be crowned champions following their perfect start.

The O’s are 21/10 to maintain that record at Brentford (5/4) on Monday night, live on Sky Sports 1 HD, with the Bees actually considered more likely promotion contenders pre-season,.

Uwe Rosler’s men started a 9/1 before drifting out to 12/1 following a solid start to their campaign, suffering just the single defeat.

Peterborough are the 7/2 second favourites for the title and have matched Wolves’ start, with a 2-1 victory over MK Dons seeing them stay second.

Preston (100/30 for promotion) sit fourth after a 1-0 victory at Sheffield United (12/1) while Rotherham (13/2) and Bradford (11/2) occupy the remaining play-off places, whilst the U's are now 200/1 for the title and 33/1 for promotion in any form.
