Defender joins U21s squad.

He said:

And, after five years with the Canaries, he has now signed a one year deal with the U's to join up with the U21s squad.

Kevin, who played for the U's U21s in pre-season after being released by Norwich City, also featured alongside the first team players for the final friendly against Bishop's Stortford.
Central defender Kevin Lokko is set to make his Colchester United debut on Wednesday, when the U21s travel to Sheffield United for their first league game.
"My agent set it up and I came down here and they brought me in for training. I was then asked to play a few games for the U21s, following which I was offered a year’s contract.

"Colchester were familiar with the Norwich players and they have had quite a few boys who have come here on trial.

We will have the full squad for Wednesday's game on the site on Wednesday morning.

"They treat the triallists and new boys really well so I warmed to them straight away. I felt confident to chat and express my opinions so settling in has been no problem."

"When I first came in I knew they were a close group. I noticed straight away that they are really team-cohesive.
