Okuonghae to be new club captain.
Magnus Okuonghae has been named U's captain ahead of the 2014/15 season.
Boss Joe Dunne has also revealed that new signing Sean Clohessy will be the U's vice-captain.
Okuonghae has been with the U's for five years, having signed in the summer of 2009.
He has been captain before, under Aidy Boothroyd, and was happy to get the armband again.
"It's a very proud moment for me. The Gaffer asked me and the first thing I said was that I would be honoured to do it," he told the official website.
"I've been here a long time, my heart is in the club and I want to lead the team to an improved season.
"I can't wait to get started and it'll be a pleasure to lead the boys."
