Travel disruption puts paid to Palace clash
The U's U21s game has been postponed.
Richard Hall and his young squad were due to play Crystal Palace on Tuesday afternoon but will have to try again in the near future.
Travel disruption on the M25 initially saw the game's kick-off time put back but it has now been postponed.
Hall was obviously disappointed but explained that the game could still be played this week.
"We were all ready for a game so it's frustrating that we couldn't make it to Palace.
"Drey Wright and Josh Thompson have been injured so needed a game and players like Dan Holma, Frankie Kent and Sammie Szmodics were also due a run out.
"We have already had some dialogue with Palace, while I was on the side of the road, and it could be that we try again on Friday."
