Eddie To Play Santa

U's want to help spread goodwill this festive season.

Colchester United's players are set to visit Colchester General Hospital later this month and, this year, we want to make our festive generosity a truly united effort from all concerned at the club.

In recent years, the first team players have got together to raise money to buy gifts to take them with them on their annual visit to see the children who are in the hospital around Christmas time.

This year, we want to go one step further.

The U's backroom staff, from the Ticket Office to the kit room, will also all be donating gifts to go into the sacks of presents that we will be taking with us on December 18th, as well as to spread the goodwill around other children's groups.

To make it a real Christmas to remember for those children, we're asking fans to join us in donating gifts!

We're not asking for big presents, just something that will put a smile on the face of one of the children.

Toys, teddies, colouring books – anything would be very gratefully received by the club and the children.

We'll have a donation basket available for fans to leave gifts at the stadium – including at the games against Peterborough (December 7th) and next Saturday v Rochdale.

Thanks in advance for your generosity – it is very much appreciated as always!
