Keeper greets the crowds on Sunday
U's goalkeeper Sam Walker helped to turn on the Lion Walk Christmas lights on Sunday, as the festive season got underway in Colchester.
Sam, aided by Father Christmas and our own cuddly favourite Eddie the Eagle, emerged from a special Christmas chimney to light up Lion Walk ahead of a busy December.
The keeper also spent time in the U's Town Shop to sign autographs and talk football to fans ahead of this week's FA Cup game against Peterborough United.
