Strong Squad For U21s

U's prepare for visit of Ipswich.

Colchester United have named a strong squad for their latest U21s match, this time at home to Ipswich Town.

A number of first team players will be involved in the match against the Tractor Boys, with Chris Lewington, Sammie Szmodics and Macauley Bonne all featuring against Mick McCarthy's younger players.
Meanwhile, triallist Anthony Jeffrey, formerly of Arsenal and Wycombe Wanderers, is in the side for Monday night's game, along with Taylor Tombides of West Ham, who has been with the U's on a 'youth work experience' spell.

The U's also include current first team loanees Cole Kpekawa and Rhys Healey, to keep the duo sharp for first team football.

Jeffrey is a pacey forward or wide man, whilst Tombides is a midfielder.

The game kicks off at 7pm and is FREE for Season Ticket holders.
