U's Flash: Ladapo Departs

24 January 2014

Freddie heads to Kidderminster.

Colchester United striker Freddie Ladapo has moved onto pastures new, after signing for Skrill Premier side Kidderminster Harriers on a free transfer.

The front man, who has had a host of loan spells away from the Weston Homes Community Stadium since signing a professional contract, has linked up with the Harriers ahead of their FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Sunderland this weekend.

The striker, who celebrates his 21st birthday next Saturday, scored two in six games for Nuneaton at Skrill Premier level earlier in the season and now will attempt to get some regular first team football under his belt with Kidderminster.

He made a total of six substitute appearances for the U's, including two this sason against Crawley and Wolves.

We wish Freddie all the best for the future in his footballing career.
