Open Day A Big Success

21 July 2014

Thousands come to the U's home venue for big day.

It was another amazing afternoon at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Sunday, as the U’s threw open their doors to the general public for the fifth consecutive summer.

Thousands of local people descended on the club to take part in fun activities, to watch the players train and get those much sought after autographs.

Joe Dunne and his players made plenty of friends on the day and the new home and away shirts also went down a storm as they were released to the general public for the first time.

The sun stayed with us too, with the weather making it another day to remember for fans young and old, for well established supporters and first time visitors.
