David Wright extends U's stay
David Wright has signed a new contract at the U's.
The thirty four year old has extended his time in north Essex for at least another year, hoping to add to the over 530 appearances he has made in his career.
Having signed for the U's eighteen months ago in the 2013 January transfer window, Wright has made 49 appearances for boss Joe Dunne.
Dunne put a deal on the table following the conclusion of the 2013/14 campaign and the former Ipswich and Crystal Palace player has agreed to the contract, which runs until the end of the coming season.
