Sean Clohessy has signed for the U's
The twenty seven year old has put pen to paper on a two year deal, subject to all the relevant clearances, having spent the past twelve months in Scotland.
He made twenty six appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Kilmarnock but returns to Essex after his year north of the border.
Prior to his move to Kilmarnock, the right back spent three years at the U's Essex neighbours Southend United, making over 160 appearances.
He trained with his new teammates at Florence Park for the first time this week, including the U's two other new signings due to be announced later on Tuesday afternoon.
