Cup game sees pre-season game shelved.
The U's pre-season game against Charlton Athletic has been cancelled, in light of the two teams having been drawn together in this year's Capital One Cup competition.
Joe Dunne's side had been due to play the Addicks at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Wednesday July 30th but, after the First Round draw of the cup saw the U's going to the Valley two weeks later, the clubs have agreed to shelve the friendly match.
The U's will now look to fill the date with an alternative game - further details will follow in due course.
