The twenty seven year old made seventy appearances for the U's, including two in the Championship in the 2007/8 season.
After being the understudy to a number of U's keepers, Cousins became the number one at the start of the 2012/13 season under former manager John Ward and played twenty six times, his best tally for any season.
He continued as first choice when the managerial reins passed to current boss Joe Dunne but the signing, initially on loan, of Sam Walker saw Mark relegated back to the subs' bench in January 2013.
A new contract was offered to Cousins but he has now chosen to move to the Daggers on a two year deal.
We wish Mark all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts on and off the pitch.
