Dunne positive about squad additions
U's boss Joe Dunne is closing in on transfer targets.
He is looking to strengthen the U's squad over the summer, ahead of the start of the 2014/15 season.
No incoming transfers have materialised yet but that hasn't worried the U's boss.
"There hasn't been too much activity across the leagues so far," he told the official website, "but that's what I expected for the early part of the summer."
"Just because it has been outwardly quiet on that front doesn't mean that there isn't a lot of work being done behind the scenes on player recruitment."
"I'm confident that we're in a positive position in terms of bringing players in - I have put contract offers to a couple of players and I'm talking to another couple over the next week.
"I've all but agreed a loan deal with a player I want here and I expect that to be tied up pretty soon as well."
