Double Sainsbury's visit for U's fluffy hero.
U's fluffy hero Eddie the Eagle was a busy man on Sport Relief weekend, as he visited two Sainsbury's stores to help raise funds for the charity event.
First up was a trip to Sainsbury's in Colchester town centre, as he watched on with interest as the store manager had his beard shaved off for Sport Relief - Eddie steered clear of the clippers, however!
Then it was a dash up the road to visit his friends at the Sainsbury's store in Sudbury, where the U's mascot participated in their charity cycle ride.
The staff at Sainsbury's Sudbury were aiming to cover the equivalent distance of Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower but, after a flying start, decided their challenge would also take in the return journey.
Eddie was on hand to cycle three valuable miles for the cause and, at the time of writing, the store had raised in excess of £4,000 for Sport Relief!
