Spence Leaves The U's

26 March 2014

Defender heads to St Neots.

U's defender Mason Spence has left the club, after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

And the former MK Dons youth product has wasted no time in getting himself a new team, as he has signed up with St Neots Town for the rest of the season.

Mason made one first team appearance for the U's after signing in the summer as he made his Football League debut against Coventry City in a 2-0 defeat at Sixfields.

A regular in the U21s during the season, Mason will now head onto pastures new and play for St Neots, who currently sit in 16th in the Calor League Southern Premier League.

It's the second time that the U's and St Neots have been involved in transfer activity this season, with Dion Sembie-Ferris joining the U's U18s earlier in the campaign.

We wish Mason all the best with his future footballing career.
