U8s Go FREE!

8 March 2014

Season Tickets and match by match prices for 2014/15 announced.

Colchester United are building for the future on and off the pitch – and that effort is set to be stepped up with our 2014/15 Season Ticket offer.

Chairman Robbie Cowling has spoken at length of his plans for developing the best in young local talent to represent the club in the future and, with our 2014/15 Season Tickets, we’re looking to grow our fanbase to watch those young players in the future.

With that in mind, we are delighted to announce that U8s match by match tickets will be FREE for the 2014/15 season.

And, what’s more, a paying adult will be able to bring up to FOUR free U8s, meaning that a family day out for five can start from just £16.

“The past couple of seasons have shown us that there is a lot of interest out there from families in coming to watch Colchester United,” U’s Ticket Office Team Leader Chris Saward said.

“We’re really keen to build a fanbase for the future and by getting the young football fans of Colchester and the surrounding area on board from an early age, we hope that they’ll follow us for many years to come.”

It’s not just the youngest fans that will benefit. All Season Tickets and matchday prices have been FROZEN for the coming season, meaning that prices remain great value for fans of all ages for games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Adult Season Tickets start at just £14 a game and, with our fantastic U8s offer, a parent and child could sit on the halfway line for under £20 a game in 2014/15.

And, for the growing teenage contingent in the South Stand, the U18s Season Tickets remain at the fantastic value of £178 or £7.65 a game, with 18s-21s tickets only £242 or £10.52 a match!

“We remain conscious of the economic climate and so we’re delighted to have been able to freeze prices for everybody this season,” U’s General Manager Tim Waddington said.

“We had a really positive reaction to the level of our prices last season, so we’re pleased to be able to keep them at those prices for another season when so many other prices in day to day life continue to rise on a regular basis.

“Once again, our fans have been fantastic in backing the players this season, so we hope that this is due reward to those that have been right behind us.”

Season Tickets are expected to go on sale in April and fans will again receive a wide range of benefits from being a part of the Col U family.

That includes the opportunity to pay by our finance plan, splitting the cost of your Season Ticket over nine payments and making it even more affordable to come and watch Joe Dunne’s men in action.

You’ll also get your exclusive invites to special Season Ticket holder events, 10% off in the club shop and your Early Bird Club Voucher, allowing you to treat yourself to something special from Colchester United.
