Addicks come to Colchester at the end of July.
Championship side Charlton Athletic have been added to Colchester United's pre-season fixture schedule, coming to the Weston Homes Community Stadium at the end of July.
The U's already have near neighbours Ipswich Town due to visit their home venue on July 23rd and the Addicks will come to Colchester on Wednesday July 30th.

Like the Ipswich game, the match will kick off at 7.30pm and it will see the return of former U's midfielder Johnnie Jackson to the stadium, with Jacko currently the captain of the London side.
