U's mascot visits local junior school.
U's mascot Eddie the Eagle was out and about again on Tuesday morning to visit the pupils of Broomgrove Junior School in Wivenhoe.
All pupils at the school were encouraged to write to their heroes as part of a literacy project and one young pupil decided that Eddie would be her choice.
As a result, Eddie was invited to the school on Tuesday to participate in Year 5's PE class.
He took along U21s defender Billy Roast, and the duo were able to help the children with their latest football session.
Eddie was put between the sticks for a penalty shoot out at the end of the class and showed some skills that suggested he could have made Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad!
