Dan to stay until January.
The Shots play their Hampshire rivals in the FA Cup replay on Wednesday night on BT Sport.
The striker, who joined the U's from Braintree in the summer, has scored two in three in the Conference for the Shots, as well as providing an assist in the FA Cup match against Portsmouth.
Colchester United striker Dan Holman has extended his stay with Aldershot Town until January 5th. "He could easily stay at Colchester, playing for their reserves, but he just wants to play football.
"He's a great lad and I love having him here – he enjoys his work and he’s loving playing football again.
Aldershot manager Andy Scott told the club's website: "Dan’s workrate, assists and goals have been key to us. He’s been a catalyst to get us moving again, and I think everybody has sparked off that.
"To extend his loan until January is a big thing for us, and we’re hopeful that we may be able to revisit it in the New Year and keep him here for the rest of the season."
