Saturday's Band

20 November 2014

We welcome Tom Sanderson for Coventry game.

For every home game this season, we'll be providing you with some fantastic pre-match entertainment.

We've got a band lined up for each home fixture, including Coventry City on Saturday. Saturday's Band: Tom Sanderson
He has been playing guitar from the age of 10 and has been writing songs almost as long. Over the years he has played in many different types of band, from grunge to folk, from acoustic to punk – all of which have helped shape his music in some way.

Tom Sanderson is a singer, songwriter from Ipswich.

His influences are many. Elvis, Led Zeppelin and Dire Straits stand out as early inspirations but in later years it has been the likes of Jack Johnson, James Morrisson and especially Jason Mraz who have helped Tom find his own acoustic/pop/rock sound and style.

In the past 5 years The Tom Sanderson Band has shared the limelight with icons such as Wheatus, The Lightning Seeds and Dodgy, and has had the honour of supporting the incredible Joan Armatrading and Mark Morriss.

Tom is currently putting the finishing touches his second album with the help and guidance of his producer, Joe Taylor.

His first album, album 'Writing All My Wrongs' available to download on iTunes and Amazon. Tom and his band, Joe Taylor on guitar, Bass man Lee 'Turbo' Turbard and Tim Rolph on drums would like to thank everyone at Colchester United Football Club for this opportunity.
