Colchester are Essex's last remaining side in FA Cup.
Colchester United will be Essex's sole representative in the Second Round of the FA Cup, after Concord Rangers' excellent run came to an end on Tuesday night.
Rangers, who recently were the U's conquerors in the Essex Senior Cup, took on Mansfield in a replay, after holding the League Two side 0-0 at Field Mill.
And the south Essex side ran the Stags close again on Tuesday, with a single goal separating the sides by the time the final whistle blew.
That leaves the U's as the only team from the county still in the competition at the Second Round stage and they will look to progress further when they take on Peterborough United on Sunday December 7th.
