It's A Dog's Life!

15 October 2014

Police puppies get training exercise on Tuesday night.

For Tuesday night's game against Chesterfield, we are pleased to welcome Essex Police and their latest litter of puppies going through Police dog training.

The dogs attending the midweek game against the Spireites are a litter bred by Essex Police and are known as the R litter; Razor, Ronnie, Roscoe, Ruby & Rhianna.

The dogs are 17 months old and on an initial 13 week Police dog course, with their visit to the Weston Homes Community Stadium taking place in week 7 of the course.

To get your tickets for the game, call us today on 0845 437 9089 or visit to book online!

It is important for the puppies to learn about the general atmosphere surrounding a night match at a professional football stadium and we look forward to welcoming them on Tuesday.

The purpose of their visit is to introduce the dogs to the environment of a live football stadium i.e. floodlights, crowds, and hopefully some loud Colchester fans singing!
