Saturday's Band: Warm Winters
Warm Winters are a four piece indie-rock band from Mersea Island, their influences include The Cure, Manic Street Preachers, Arcade Fire, Blur and Pulp.
Formed in Autumn 2012, they recorded their second EP 'Broken Hearts Still Beat' at Unit 13 studios in London earlier this year. It is now available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon worldwide.
Singer and guitarist Richard Williams is a big U's fan, he attended his first game in 1993, a 5-2 home defeat to Rochdale, and has been hooked ever since!
