Completing a day of positive news at Colchester United, Frankie Kent has signed a new three and a half year contract with the U's.
The central defender, who made his first team debut at the end of last season, has excelled in his appearances so far this campaign, and has been rewarded with a new deal.
He becomes the fourth U's player to commit their future to the club in the past week, following Sammie Szmodics, Tom Eastman and Gavin Massey in putting pen to paper.
