U's Venture North Again

Preston test for Humes and co.

Preston North End will provide the opposition on Saturday, with Tony Humes taking a similar squad up to Deepdale.

Last week saw them return from the North West with three points from the 3-0 win at Crewe, and they're hoping for more of the same this time round. The U's are on their travels again this weekend.

Whilst there are no new injury worries for the U's boss, he will still be without Jabo Ibehre and Tosin Olufemi.

Ibehre has started training as he looks to get back to full fitness but full back Olufemi will remain sidelined for another few months having ruptured his Achilles Tendon in pre-season.

Humes will also have to face Simon Grayson's Lilywhites without their captain Magnus Okuonghae, who is still suspended.

His dismissal at Orient cost him a four match ban, which ends this weekend making him available for the JPT game next Tuesday evening.

Loanee Rhys Healey will be hoping that his goalscoring debut from the bench at Crewe will be enough to earn him a starting place in the U's attack.
