Praise For Frankie

26 September 2014

Central defender's progress comes in for acclaim.

U's boss Tony Humes has praised the progress made by Frankie Kent after his recent emergence into the first team.

Having made his debut at the back end of last season, Frankie has slotted back into central defence in recent weeks whilst club captain Magnus Okuonghae serves his four match suspension.

Frankie has been a part of an overall tightening up at the back and Tony has been pleased with Frankie's contribution to the cause.

"He is enjoying his football and going into games with no fear, which is a telling sign of a good young player."

"I am so pleased with how he's done, and his performances have been a good confidence booster for him.

"He is very composed, has good quality on the ball, and is never rash in his defending.

He said: "I've known Frankie's qualities for some time, having seen him coming through the ranks over the last couple of years.
