Rhys Gets The Nod

23 September 2014

Striker gets international clearance.

Cardiff City striker Rhys Healey has now been given international clearance to play for Colchester United.

Having initially signed on loan at the end of last week, the final pieces of paperwork were signed off by FIFA on Monday afternoon.

Rhys, who trained with the players ahead of the game against Bradford on Saturday, is now available to play against Crewe Alexandra this weekend.

His initial loan runs until December 20th.

Meanwhile, Dan Holman also received his international clearance on Monday, in time for him to play in the derby game between Wrexham and Chester.

Dan came on for the final ten minutes of a match which Wrexham dominated, but it was Chester who grabbed the win with an injury time goal.
