Finding Miranda is an indie/pop/rock band that formed in the summer or 2012. After a year of rehearsing and playing shows across Essex and London, they released their debut EP "Miracles and Time Machines" in December 2013.
The quartet consists of Chay Appleyard (lead vocals, acoustic guitars), Lee Tallon (lead guitar), Jimmy Sallows (bass guitar) and Tony Buckley (drums). The members met by participating in other musical projects in local venues.
"Miracles and Time Machines" has three songs which are 'Slow Drive Home', 'Every Bit of Abuse' and 'Hey Sunshine'.
It was recorded at Creative Music Studios on the A128 heading towards Brentwood. You can hear the tracks on the Reverbnation page.
The band have recently recorded a second EP at the same studios due out towards the end of the year entitled "Find Ghost".
The band have played at many venues across Essex, London and Suffolk. These include Chinnerys (Southend), Asylum (Chelmsford), The Triangle Club (Chelmsford), The Miley (Rochford), The Edge (Basildon), The Ivy (Sheerness), Grinning Rat (Ipswich) and Bar Vinyl (Camden). We now host our own nights at the Traitors Gate Pub in Grays.
