Mascot visits Youth Club BBQ.
This group of children have been coming to the Weston Homes Community Stadium for the last three years to take part in our activity days, so it was Eddies turn to pay them a visit and they had the perfect weather for the day.
On Friday morning, U's fluffy mascot Eddie the Eagle took a trip out to Great Bentley to visit some young children for their Youth Club summer BBQ.

There was loads on offer for the children who had various inflatables and stalls including a tombola and mystery bag stall.
There was also a snack room and BBQ which Eddie took a special shine too around lunch time!
Whilst Eddie was in attendance, he got the children involved in some football and also had a stint in goal as the children tried to beat the keeper. However Eddie's favourite activity had to be the chance to have a go on DJ decks over lunch time!
