Boss still keen on fresh addition.
Colchester United boss Tony Humes remains hopeful of a fresh addition to the squad, with the new season just around the corner.
However, whilst that particular move fell at the final hurdle, the U's manager believes he is in a position to see another signing soon.
Speaking to the press at the weekend after the game against Fulham, he said he had expected to make a signing in the early part of this week ahead of the opening game against Blackpool.

He told the club's official website: "The situation changed on Monday with the player that we had set up to join us.
"We had agreed to take a player from Rotherham last week, but there was a last minute change of position at that end.
"However, we are working hard on something else now and hopeful we can get this one completed very soon."
