Tony has an eye on Fleetwood - and further additions.
Colchester United boss Tony Humes is looking for his team to add end product to some positive approach play, when they travel to Fleetwood this weekend.
The team have put in three solid displays in their league games so far, and run Reading close in the Capital One Cup.
And Tony is now looking for them to polish it off with the all important goals.
Asked as to what he would change after the early matches, he said: "Just a bit of end product, really. We've had enough chances in all of the games to take the three points. We have to keep those performances going, and take those chances when it matters.
"We're not too worried about it and are just asking the lads to keep going to get the end result.
"On Tuesday, Macauley linked up well with Sammie and Darren and we are creating chances, but it's just a question of finding a bit of quality when required.
"It's still early in the season, the players are still acclimatising, but we need to start picking up points, we know that."
He added: "The general idea of how we want to play is to be able to mix it up with either a longer pass or a short quick play, but it's about choosing when to do that within a game."
The chances on Tuesday night came with the U's going a little more direct than has perhaps been the norm in recent seasons, but Tony is keen that his players can play both ways and make good decisions when the opportunities present themselves.
The match at Fleetwood is the penultimate Saturday in September and, as the transfer deadline approaches, Tony said: "We are still looking to bring people in.
"We've got to keep being patient, and we are still talking to players. We do have things on the go, we just have to be patient to get the right ones in."
