Dynamic winger joins the U's.
Colchester United have bolstered their squad ahead of the weekend game against Scunthorpe United, with the addition of exciting winger Callum Harriott from Charlton Athletic.
21-year-old Callum has joined the U's on loan until January, and becomes the second signing this week after the arrival of Owen Garvan on a free transfer on Thursday.
Tricky wide man Callum has spent his entire career so far with the Addicks, having come through the ranks with the South London club.
He made his first team debut aged just 17 and it has been in the last two seasons that he has made his mark at The Valley, playing 28 and 21 times in the Championship for the first team.
He grabbed six goals from a wide position in 2014/15, proving to be a dangerous threat from the flanks.
Callum put pen to paper on a loan deal with the U's on Friday morning and, subject to paperwork clearance, will be available for the weekend match at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
