"If we get it against Tilbury it’s great because the managers are both our ex-players and we’ve got a great relationship with Tilbury, so it would be lovely to get them over to us. It’d be third time lucky for us because they’ve already beaten us twice this season."

"If we can carry on and get to the Semi-Finals of the Essex Cup it would be a great boost for Redbridge, especially after defeating Southend, who put up a very strong Under 21s Academy Side. We played excellent there."
He also believes the Essex Senior Cup is an important part of the club’s yearly priorities: "If we get Braintree, who are absolutely flying high in the Conference, that would be a great draw as well. Any cup improves morale within the club.
And colleague Eaton believes they have a strong partnership which functions well, with both individuals able to contribute and confer on key decisions: "We just do everything together.
"We bounce off each other. We have ideas between us then come to a conclusion which we think is best for the side. It’s a good time for us at the minute. Everyone is confident."
