Remembering U's steward Noel Thompson.
Everyone at the club was deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Noel Thompson.

Noel was a long serving and popular member of the club’s stewarding team and one of those who made the move across with us from the Weston Homes Community Stadium, along with his wife Helen.
He will also be well known to many of our supporters as a Sunday League referee.

He had been living with myeloma, a form of cancer, having originally been diagnosed in 2008. He had been in remission for the last couple of years, but sadly the condition returned in January and he passed away on Monday January 26th.
Our thoughts are with Helen and sons Ben and Ollie at this very sad time and we hope that our fans will join the stewarding team and club staff members in donating generously this weekend.
