It was a big success last season and Take Over The Town is back up and running for 2015, with a romantic twist!
Following the fun and games we had with our campaign in April of 2014, we're pleased to be in the midst of Take Over The Town 2 – 'Fall in love with the U's'!
As per last year, there have been and will be a range of events between February 14th and February 21st, leading up to the U's big home game with promotion chasing Bristol City on Saturday.
Eddie the Eagle was out on Friday delivering Valentine’s flowers to romantic U’s supporters and their partners, and Eddie is also still hoping that one fan might be brave enough to propose to their boyfriend or girlfriend at the Bristol match. Blue & White Day promises to be an exciting event too!
Colchester United are inviting businesses to participate in Blue & White Day on February 18th.
We've already had a host of businesses commit to their staff wearing blue and/or white on February 18th, helping to raise money for our charity partners.
It is suggested that each member of staff pays 50p or £1 to wear blue and/or white, with prizes for the best efforts that are sent in to us here at the club.
