Which stories caught your eye this year?
It has been a year of many big stories on the Colchester United website this year, as another twelve months of ups and downs comes to a close on Wednesday.
A change of manager, many new signings and the arrival of Elton John at our Weston Homes Community Stadium have seen tens of thousands of visitors to the official website since January 1st.
But what have your top ten most read stories been this year? There are some unsurprising arrivals in the list, but one or two you might not expect, too!

10) U's get Category Two
The U's plans for the future received a boost in June when it was confirmed that they would be a Category Two team for the coming season. The indoor ball court is due for completion soon, so we'll bring you news in 2015!

The arrival of Ben Gordon from his stint in Scotland is the first appearance for a U's player in our top ten. Ben has been back in the team in recent weeks and will be battling to be in the side for the trip to Cardiff.

8) Moncur pleased to be permanent
November brought the good news that George Moncur had changed his loan move to a permanent one to stay with the U's. He told us about his excitement about his new chapter!

7) Kinsella leaves the U's
The end of August saw Mark Kinsella leave his position as assistant manager as the U's changed their managerial team. Mark is now at Drogheda United back in Ireland.
