Duo Back In Cardiff

5 January 2015

Lapslie and Sembie-Ferris in U21s

U's debutants Dion Sembie-Ferris and Tom Lapslie face Cardiff again in U21s clash.

Both the youngsters made their first team debuts at the Cardiff City Stadium in the FA Cup on Friday and return to the Welsh capital.

Sembie-Ferris made an instant impact in the 3-1 defeat, almost scoring within a couple of minutes of his introduction in place of Elliott Hewitt.

The move that gave the U's winger the chance to make it 3-2 was started by Lapslie, who came on as a second half substitute for George Moncur.

Two of the other substitutes, both unused, from Friday's cup tie also return to Cardiff for Monday night's game.

Macauley Bonne and Kane Vincent-Young make the trip across the Severn Bridge and are expected to start against the Welsh side's U21s.

U's: Robinson, Bransgrove, Vincent-Young, Harney, Andrews, Lapslie, James, Curtis, Lawrence, Sembie-Ferris, Bonne, Nwachuku, Hubble, Tennent, Tombides.
