Over £800 given to worthy cause.
Colchester United handed over a cheque for over £800 to the Royal British Legion at the weekend game against Leyton Orient.
The U's had previously auctioned off the shirts worn in the FA Cup game against Gosport, with the match having taken place on Remembrance Sunday.
Representatives of the Colchester branch of the Royal British Legion were in attendance on Saturday to receive the proceeds of those auctions, with assistant manager Richard Hall handing over a cheque for £819 being handed over.
Thanks once again to our fans for their generosity.
