Thousands flock to visit the U's.
Thank you to everyone that came along on the day - we look forward to seeing your photos and to seeing you during the season!Our four Charity Partners were in attendance and once again, the weather held true for the U's as they welcomed fans new and old to the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Silbury Hill and Lizzie Wilson provided musical entertainment, there was Zumba, Parkour and a fantastic climbing wall brought along by the Army.
They were backed up by the U18s, who helped to man several stalls and meet the public for the first time.
The first team, led by Stefano Russo and watched by Tony Humes and Richard Hall, participated in an open training session and then signed hundreds of autographs in a busy signing session.
An estimated 4,000 people visited during the course of the day as the U's showcased the stadium and their playing talent.
Colchester United's latest Open Day was another huge success, as the club sprung into the new season in style.
