Season Ticket Sales Up

16 June 2015

U's pleased by sales increase in Early Bird period.

Colchester United's supporters have backed the boys in some style over the past month, with the news that Season Ticket sales are up on last season's totals.

At the end of the Early Bird period on Tuesday, Season Tickets were already 8% UP on the club's total by the time that the season got underway with the home game against Oldham Athletic in August 2014.

With new fans getting on board and longer standing supporters renewing their seat, things already look positive for the 2015/16 season under boss Tony Humes.

"We must thank the fans for their backing over the past few weeks," U’s Ticket Office Team Leader Chris Saward said.

"After finishing the season on a high, the supporters have now really shown their support of the team for the coming campaign.

"It has been great to speak to so many of our supporters since last season finished and there is plenty of optimism about what is coming up.

"Everyone is keen to see who Tony and Richard might sign over the coming weeks and the fans seem to be really looking forward to the season ahead."

As well as Season Tickets being on the rise, our Commercial team have had a great month since the season finished.

Having confirmed the West Stand sponsorship and short sponsorship in recent weeks, we have also had our highest number of seasonal box sales since the first season at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

It's not too late to get on board for the 2015/16 campaign, with standard Season Ticket prices now available for all fans.
