Colchester United have been paired with Reading in the First Round of the Capital One Cup.
The draw was made on Tuesday morning, and Tony Humes' men will face the Championship side in the opening round of this year's cup competition.
It will be the first time that the two sides have come face to face since the 2001/2 season.
The U's won the home game at Layer Road, with goals from Scott McGleish and Kevin Rapley, whilst the Royals gained their revenge in the match at the Madejski Stadium, picking up a 3-0 victory.
