Defender to represent Guyana.
Colchester United loanee defender Matthew Briggs has been given a call-up to play for Guyana.
Matthew, who has played ten games for the U's since arriving for Millwall, will fly out immediately after the weekend game against Gillingham.
Guyana are due to play St Lucia on Sunday March 22nd and Matthew will miss the match against Swindon Town at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, with his parent nation also playing Grenada on Sunday March 29th.
He is joined in the national squad by former Col U midfielder Neil Danns, who is currently with Bolton Wanderers.
