Colchester United will be holding the fourth annual CHAPS Charity Men’s Health Day at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Thursday, 26th March.
This year we will be providing blood pressure checks, heart and stroke risk assessment and PSA prostate cancer screening for men aged 40-75, abdominal aortic aneurysm scans for men over 55, skin cancer screening as well as physiotherapy and sports injury assessments. All tests are FREE.
Registration under the West Stand starts at 9am and following opening by the mayor, entry to the tests commences at 10am till 4pm.

Last year at Colchester, CHAPs performed a phenomenal number of checks for 315 men and by the end of the year had checked nearly 1000 men through further events at Southend United, Newmarket Racecourse, Ipswich Town FC and at Clacton Voluntary Services.
Future screening days will this year be again at Southend Utd (18/5), Ipswich Town FC (22/10), Clacton (12/11) and a new event at the Essex County Cricket Ground, Chelmsford on 19th August; the Chelmsford and Ipswich events will be followed by a Charity Dinner.
