Curtis, Lawrence and O'Donoghue extend contracts.

Colchester United have extended the contracts of three of their younger players.

Jack Curtis, Byron Lawrence and Michael O'Donoghue have all signed new one year extensions to stay with the club for the 2015/16 season.

Midfielder Jack has been a regular in the U21s this season and has travelled with the first team on a number of occasions during the current campaign.

Byron, who signed for the U's from near neighbours Ipswich Town, made his U's debut in the home game against Sheffield United and has been a regular occupant of the first team substitutes' bench, along with being a regular in the U21s.

Michael made his own first team debut in the game against Barnsley in November, but has spent the second half of the season of the sidelines after injuring knee ligaments, and will hope to be back in the fold for pre-season.

We will have more on this story next week!
