Warm Winters return to WHCS.

For every home game this season, we'll be providing you with some fantastic pre-match entertainment.

We are pleased to welcome one of the area's top bands to WHCS for Saturday's game.

Warm Winters are a melodic indie-rock band from Mersea Island, their sound combines angular guitars and witty, heart-felt lyrics.

Their influences include The Cure, Blur, Pulp, Manic Street Preachers and The Stone Roses.

Formed in Autumn 2012, they have recorded two EPs - 'Meet Me by the Sea' and 'Broken Hearts Still Beat' - both of which are available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon worldwide.

Singer and guitarist Richard Williams is a big U's fan, he attended his first game in 1993, a 5-2 home defeat to Rochdale, and has been hooked ever since!
