Essex Senior Cup action on Tuesday
A strong U's side will host AFC Hornchurch in the Essex Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
Midfielder Joe Edwards has made sixteen starting appearances for the first team this season but, having missed the past couple, will play to maintain his match sharpness.
Drey Wright and Tom Lapslie have also had first team experience at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, and they'll be looking to impress ahead of the U's FA Cup tie at Wealdstone at the weekend.
The likes of Macauley Bonne, Frankie Kent and Dion Sembie-Ferris are also included for the game against the non-leaguers, who are going well in the Ryman League One North Division.
They sit in fourth place, nine points behind leaders Cray Wanderers, but have four games in hand.
